CMAT Exam Syllabus:-

Verbal Ability:-

Reading Comprehension, jumbled sentences, sentence correction and paragraph completion, Idiomatic Usage, Subject and Verb agreement, Pronounce Errors, Modifiers, Parallelism and Phrasal Verbs.
 
Quantitative Ability:-

Geometry, Ratios and Proportion, Ratios, Percentages, In-equations, Quadratic and linear equations, Algebra, Profit & Loss, Averages, Percentages, Partnership, Time-Speed-Distance, Work and time, Mensuration, Alligation & Mixtures, Work, Pipes and Cisterns, Simple Interest & Compound Interest, Probability, Permutations & Combinations
 
Reasoning Ability:-

Critical reasoning, Assumption premise conclusion, visual reasoning, assertion and reasons, identifying valid inferences, statements and assumptions, identifying strong arguments and weak arguments, cause and effects, statements and conclusion, identifying true and false statement, linear arrangements, matrix arrangements, family tree problem, matrix arrangements, symbol based problems, sequencing, coding and decoding problem, number series.
 
General Awareness:-

CMAT 2013 Registration process:-

1) Candidate first needs to register himself at official website  www.aicte-mat.in  by filling some basic details and then make payment.
2) Candidate can make fees payment through two modes: Online and cash payment in bank.
3) After the payment is done the candidate can fill in rest of his details.

CMAT is an entrance exam for admissions to MBA colleges. The exam is conducted by AICTE and is mandatory for all AICTE affiliated institutes and universities. The IIMs and Deemed universities are exempted from CMAT tests and conduct their own entrance exam CAT. There are more than 2000 institutes which accept the CMAT scores for admissions.
