CMAT 2013-14 Your Gateway to MBA Success:-
Common Management Aptitude Test has been introduced by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for those students who want to pursue post-graduate MBA courses and post graduate diploma in management. This entrance test is held online and will be held twice a year from 2013. Students can get admission to all AICTE approved colleges through this test only and need not appear for any other entrance test for of any AICTE colleges across India. All IIMs and deemed university have been exempted from this test.
Eligibility Criteria for CMAT 2013:-
For PGDM, MBA and similar
Graduates from any discipline having minimum 50% of marks can apply. For reserved category, the candidate must have scored minimum 45% of marks. Students in final year of any graduation course can also apply.
For PGCM:-
There is no minimum percentile required. Graduate from any discipline and final year students of any graduation course can also apply.
For PGDM:-
Graduates from any discipline having minimum 50% of marks along with at least 5 years of managerial or supervisory experience can apply.
Paper Pattern for CMAT 2013:-
The paper will consist of total number of 100 Multiple Choice Questions. The paper has been split into four sections namely:
1) Language Comprehension
2) Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation
3) Logical Reasoning
4) General Awareness
Total duration of exam is 180 minutes with every section having duration of 45 minutes each. There is also negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer.
CMAT 2013 Exam Dates:
The fee for the examination is Rs 1200 for open category and Rs 600 for reserved category. The exam will be conducted twice from 2013. First it will take place in third week of February and then in September.

Admission process:- After the completion of exams, the affiliated institutes will be given an all India and State level merit list for admission process. For allotment of seat in AICTE approved Universities, scores of individual candidates will be used.

A candidate can select up-to 3 cities giving order of preference towards home city.
